Sunderland Sunday League: Jordan swoops to rock table-topping Farringdon ISL

Anth Clifton bagged an impressive hat-trick and was star man, while Michael Berry finished the scoring for confident Marine.

The Saltrgrass’s poor season continued after they went down 5-0 to the youthful Wearmouth CW Juniors side in Division Four.

Chris Hollren (2), Reece Young, Matthew Wilkinson and Richie Cull scored to hand Saltgrass their 18th defeat in the league.

Noble, Diamond and Sweeney fired SR Dons into the Total Sport Challenge Cup Final after seeing of SIlksworth Paragon 3-1 in style.

George McCain came off the bench to score for Paragon, but the Dons were too strong and held on to secure the cup final spot. Jordan Murray shone in vain for Silksworth.
