BETH Mead played the final 10 minutes of England U23’s 3-1 victory over Sweden in La Manga.
Mead was named on the bench by boss Mo Marley for England’s first friendly of their 10-day camp at the Spanish resort.
The teenage Sunderland forward was the third of the five subs brought on, replacing Danielle Carter in the 80th minute.
It was Carter who had given England a flying start with a goal inside the first minute. Nikita Parris made it 2-0 midway through the second half before sub Kirsty Linnett added number three 13 minutes from time.
Sweden netted a consolation goal late on.
