The visiting Teessiders, two up in just eight minutes, extended their lead at the top of the table to four points.
Tom Atkinson’s brilliant solo effort – he went past several defenders before leaving goalkeeper Adam Don helpless – made a third-minute breakthrough, and Atkinson soon doubled the lead from the penalty spot.
It was 3-0 on 17 minutes as Daniel Lawson sent in an unstoppable 25-yarder before Atkinson completed his hat-trick right on half-time, with another fine individual effort.
Stephen Roberts slotted home a classy fifth and Shaun Kell made it six before debutant Tom Leuenberger netted Silksworth’s consolation.

It appeared his strike would be sufficient, but, in the 89th minute, Aaron Hopper levelled with a 20-yard screamer which rocketed past keeper Neil Bussey.
