RYHOPE CW aim to close the nine-point gap on leaders Easington Colliery when they host lowly Cleator Moor Celtic tonight.

The second-top Wearsiders welcome back John Butler, but goalkeeper Neil Atkinson will need a late fitness check.

Following their weekend League Cup defeat to New Marske, Easington will now be fully focused on winning the championship and promotion to the STL Northern League.

They travel to Windscale without six players, though manager Andy Colledge has Chris Hall, Chris Tarn, David Doughty and Andy Hall added to the squad.

Ashbrooke Belford House could go fourth if they beat Jarrow at Silksworth.

Manager Tommy Dobbing has captain Kenny Taylor out injured while Martin Deacon and Chris Charlton are working. But Grant Bulmer and Ryan Steel could be available and Dobbing may also introduce a new signing.

Houghton Town meet Annfield Plain at Leyburn Grove pleased to have Simon Williamson and Ian McPherson on standby, especially as Andrew Gartland is out.

Boldon CA’s only absentee against Kirkbymoorside is Finbar Lynch.

Willington host Wolviston hopeful that James Towers and Graham Lazonby will be able to turn out.
