RYHOPE CW have withdrawn their application to the STL Northern League but still have a lot to play for.

They are fighting for honours on four fronts, having reached the three domestic cup finals.

Ahead of tomorrow’s visit to Darlington Cleveland Bridge, the Wearsiders are only three points behind leaders Easington Colliery with a game in hand.

The midweek victory over Easington was a massive result and opened up the race for the title.

A big blow to manager Martin Swales through is the absence of Neil Moan, James Dunn, Greg Swansbury and Paul Taylor.

His squad will be further depleted if Kenny Linton, Nathan Johnson and Johnny Davis fail fitness tests.

Until recently, Easington looked invincible but have now lost five times and need to return to winning form at Boldon CA.

Manager Andy Colledge welcomes the availability of goalkeeper Joe Atherton but Chris Tarn and David Doughty are definite absentees.

Although Darlington Cleveland Bridge are third, they are out of the running but Redcar Athletic and New Marske could still end in pole position.

Ashbrooke Belford House line up with Houghton Town at Silksworth with manager Tommy Dobbing unable to name Chris Charlton or Peter Benson.

Overall, however, his squad is stronger with the inclusion of Martin Deacon, Kenny Taylor, Glen Moan and Mark Green.

Houghton are third bottom and joint manager Anthony Cooper reports that Daniel Price and Jake Croft come into contention but Andrew Gartland and Dave Clark will need their fitness checked.

Coxhoe Athletic are second from the basement and at home to Silksworth include Mark Osmond but the availability of Paul Cantwell and David Curry is uncertain.

Jarrow will be hoping to avenge last Saturday’s Wearside League Cup semi final defeat at Willington when the sides meet at Perth Green. Although Gordon Hutchinson and Marc Brocklehurst have returned from holiday, Peter Kirkham, Peter Cane and Liam Clark are carrying knocks.

Willington also have doubts surrounding Danny Lee and James Seymour while Adam Bleninsop is a definite non-starter.
