SEAHAM Island Club secured the last silverware of the season, lifting the John & Pat McManus Memorial Cup.
Two goals from star man Paul Atkinson paved the way for the Premier Division side to beat First Division, Easington HMS Victory 2-1 in a close-fought clash, with Ryan Douglas bagging HMS Victory’s consolation.
Shotton Comrades clinched the First Division title after hammering Seaham Phoenix 5-1 to crown a memorable season.
Comrades only needed a point to win the championship, but they ended on a high when two goals apiece from Connor Beeston and Brett Carr, along with an effort from Lewis Edwards, saw them through to a comfortable win.
Thornley Harry’s Bar are also promoted as runners-up, pipping third-place Easington Southside thanks to a much superior goal difference.
