In the Durham County Cup, Shotton Comrades were unlucky to lose by the odd goal in nine after extra time against Felling Deuchars Arms, with their goals coming from Dave Beeston (2), Lee Johnson and Connor Beeston.

Michael Wilson (2), Marc Ruddick and Stephen Squire scored in the victory.

Kyle Middleton and John Davies netted for Thornley Harrys Bar, but they lost 3-2 to Hetton the Tuns, whose goals came from Chris Hughes, Scott Henderson and Steve Ashman.

Graeme Coxon, who netted for Peterlee Acre Rigg Social and later sent off, saw them lose 4-1 to Seaham Marlborough in the Second Division League Cup.

Kyle Milner, Chris Dormand, Connor Patterson and Billy Chisholm netted for Seaham.

In the George Ivey Memorial Cup, Peterlee Central and Wingate Plough Inn both made progress to the second round.

A goal from Dean Townsend was enough to give Peterlee Central Clubthe win against New Seaham Mallard.

Wingate Plough Inn won comfortably when they won 4-0 against Hetton Fox and Hounds, thanks to goals from Jake Devine, Dean Fox, Nathan Grainger and Joe Coulson.
