JOINT manager Lee Collings will be delighted if Durham City repeat the performance they showed despite losing to Bradford Park Avenue on Tuesday night.
Tomorrow, City are at Warrington Town in the EvoStick League Division One North and Collings reckons a repeat display will reap rewards.
He said: “ I thought we were desperately unlucky going out of the Challenge Cup to Bradford PA. The lads were brilliant both as a team and as individuals.
“We bossed the game for long periods, had three efforts cleared off the line and twice hit the woodwork. One thing’s for sure, we didn’t deserve to lose and if we play the same way tomorrow I’m confident we’ll return home with three points.”
Collings and his managerial colleague Dickie Ord have a full strength squad of 18 to choose from.
“Josh Home Jackson didn’t make it on Tuesday but he should be okay,” added Collings who is looking to strengthen the playing strength in the next few days.
