JOINT manager Lee Collings will be delighted if Durham City reproduce the form they showed last Saturday in tomorrow’s Evo-Stik League Division One North game with Salford City at the Esh Group Stadium.
“I thought it was a very, very good performance. We scored four goals and could easily have had eight,” said Collings.
“Considering the side we put out Dickie Ord and I were over the moon.
“If we play like that in the remaining games we will shoot up the table.”
City only had 13 players available at Wakefield when Rufus Ayre and Evann Graham had to pull out of the squad shortly before kick-off.
Ayre and Jack Pounder are expected to return tomorrow but doubts surround the fitness of Graham and Johnny Butler.
Collings added: “We’ll take a look at the two lads before kick-off and hopefully they’ll be able to play. They have both made good progress this week.”
