Lee appointed as Bishops boss

BISHOP Auckland have appointed Tony Lee as manager with David Bayles as his assistant.

Lee recently quit as the boss of Billingham Town, who have replaced him with Paul Burton.

Billy Banks, who was secretary of Peterlee Town, has taken up a similar role with Easington Colliery, who are training on Wednesdays at 6.30pm and Saturdays at 1pm.

Manager Paul Frame, who was also previously with Peterlee Town, is looking for away pre-season friendly fixtures. Any club interested is asked to contact him on 07507 522287 or chairman Paul Adamson on 07947 590795.

To date the Colliers have arranged the following friendlies:-July 20 Durham The Garden House away, 2pm; July 24 Chester-le-Steet at home, 7pm; July 27, Willington at home, 3pm.
