BAG 2 SCHOOL TROPHY

FARRINGDON Detached Red clinched the league title with two more wins.

They won 1-0 against Hilda Park, and then beat HFC United Blues 2-1 thanks to goals from Oliver Green and Ashton Donnelly. Ben Lawson scored the only goal for HFC United Blues.

Farringdon end the campaign three points clear of South Shields All Stars.

Liam Longstaff, Cameron Taylor (2), Ben Pescod, Wilson Napier were all on target for third top Seaham United in their 5-1 win with St Mary’s.

Seaham won again against Annfield Plain 3-1, Kian Rowland (2) and Jasmine McQuade scoring the winning goals.

Plain bounced back defeating Ryton and Crawcrook Blues 2-1, Jay Gibson and Adam Ovington on target.

Ben Tait scored a hat-trick for Blues in a 3-0 win against Coxhoe United.

United were defeated again 2-1 by Real Athletics, thanks to Ellis Sutherland and Josh Dellin, with Jack Rowcroft replying.

Tommie Hepplewhite (3), Ben Ahmed, Kyle Waite and Robbie Drew all scored for South Shields All Stars in a 6-0 win against St Mary’s.

Stars were victorious again in beating Washington Leopards 4-2, thanks to Luke Stewart, Hepplewhite, Ahmed and Jack Hodson. Finley Scott and Jake Allison were the Leopards’ scorers.

Leopards went down 2-0 to HFC United Blues 2-0 with both Joe Ould and Jay Roper on the scoresheet.

SUPER DINER TROPHY

BYERS Green Bees finish as runners-up to Shotton Colts after a 3-1 win against North East Sports Blues.

Harry Drake, Luke Robinson and David Popham all scored, with Theo Weiss getting the consolation goal.

Drake and Robinson were on the scoresheet again for Bees in their 2-1 win against Rickleton United Blacks, Brandon Sutherland scoring the consolation goal.

Blacks bounced back in a 4-0 win with Washington United Whites, the goals coming from Callum Bell (2), Jake Hurst and Jay Walker.

Deerness Valley Storm powered home 4-1 against Durham County Colts.

Owen Strangroom and Daniel Crisp scored for Colts in their 2-1 win against Hetton Juniors Milan, Troy Tait scoring the reply.

Milan bounced back by beating Deerness Storm 3-2, thanks to Adam Tait, James Cummings and Riley Croft. Leon McLaughlan and Joseph Quigley netted for Storm.

HFC Whites lost their next game 3-2 to Chester-le-Street RAR. Ellis Hodgson and Lennox Young scored for Whites with Lewis Brooks, Thomas Schrouder and Dan Mason scored for the victors.

Layton Hogg scored the only goal of the game for Hetton Juniors Milan against RAR.

Denis Harland (2) scored for Catchgate but they went down 3-2 to North East Sports Blues, whose goals came from Theo Weiss, Joseph Morton and Ellis Head.

RAG “N” PHONE MAN CUP

THOMAS Furness, James Clark, Taylor Mutch and Thomas Gjorven scored for B D Plastics in a 6-0 win against SAFC Foundation.

Plastics then drew 0-0 with Peterlee Helford United and finish as runners-up in the league.

Marsden Juniors finish clear at the top as league champions with 44 points.

Peterlee scored a 2-0 win in their second game against Chester Town, thanks to two Liam Harper goals.

Evert Robson and Patrick McCann scored for Whitburn and Cleadon Diablo in a 2-1 win against Swalwell Juniors. Jack Davis-Graves scored the reply.

Diablo beat SAFC Foundation 1-0 thanks to a Jonathan Hall strike.

Finley Curwen and Sam Patterson scored for East Durham in a 2-2 draw with Hetton Juniors Inter, Mason Oliver scoring the replies.

Durham drew 0-0 with Lumley Omega, who then defeated Deerness Valley Thunder 1-0. Dillon Tye scored the winning goal.

BRANDON FC INVITATION TROPHY

BOWBURN Youth sealed the league title with a 2-1 win against Waldridge Park Blues thanks to goals from Nathan Gallagher and Joe Seymour. Matthew Mulholland scored the reply.

Cameron Powell scored for Youth in their other game but they lost 2-1 to Swalwell Swifts after strikes from Cameron Brownless and James Barras.

Bowburn take the title by a single point after Washington United pressed them all the way.

Joe Armstrong (3), Nathan Anderson (2), Josh Guerin and Matty Clements were all on target for Washington in a 7-0 win against Bowburn Athletic.

Washington also edged out Willington Youth Blues 5-4 with Armstrong (2), Clements, Anderson and Guerin again scoring.

Thomas Elliott, Aidan Wilson, Josh Nicholson, Thomas Huscroft and Jake Huscroft were all on the scoresheet for Waldridge Park Blues in their 5-0 win against Bowburn Athletic.

Swifts also beat Brandon 1-0 thanks to a Liam Harris goal.

Brandon then drew 0-0 with Houghton Albion, who then went on to beat Easington Colliery 1-0.
