JOINT manager Lee Collings wasn’t happy with the result but he was pleased with Durham City’s performance against Harrogate RA in midweek, writes Malcolm Pratt.

He said: “If we play as well tomorrow in our Evo Stik League Division One North game at Wakefield we would be okay.

“We created enough chances to win three games on Tuesday night but a combination of outstanding goalkeeping and poor finishing cost us.”

A boost for City is that they could have a full strength squad on duty in West Yorkshire.

Amar Purewal and Josh Home Jackson, who both missed Tuesday’s game, are expected to play while John Butler could also make the line-up.

“If we have these three players back we will be much stronger” added Collings who was pleased that David Dowson returned from injury in midweek.
