SUNDERLAND season ticket holders can attend Gateshead home matches for reduced prices this season – starting with tomorrow’s attractive Vanarama Conference Premier clash against newly-relegated Torquay United (3pm).
Season ticket holders from Sunderland and Newcastle are being given a £5 incentive, with admission cut to £10 for them.
Gateshead, with their own season ticket sales up 80 per cent, are excited about their prospects for the new campaign, having gone so close to regaining Football League status last term, only losing out to Cambridge United in the play-off final.
Chief executive Brian Waites said: “The product at Gateshead is excellent, a winning side playing good football, and we want as many people as possible to get behind the lads.
“Our aim is to get Gateshead back into the Football League. We came very close last season and now we want to go one better.
“Having the backing of Newcastle and Sunderland fans alongside our own famed Heed Army will help us achieve our goal.”
