CONFIDENT Sam Collins wants to see his Hartlepool United players “bang at it” for the visit of Luton Town on Saturday.
Pools are 21st in Sky Bet League Two but go into the game against fourth-place Luton full of confidence following last weekend’s 2-1 win at Exeter City.
That win lifted Pools off the bottom of the league and Collins says the training ground has been “bubbling” with confidence this week.
“I enjoyed last week and we finished that off with a good win at Exeter City,” said Collins at his pre-match press conference.
“The message to the players this week have been exactly the same, they know what I expect and they will be fully prepared.
“We will give them as much information on Luton as possible and it is making sure we are well organised to go and win the game.
“Last week we played a team in form and this week it is the same.
“At the end of the day we will give the lads all the information but it is all about us and there is every chance we can go and win the game if we play like we did last weekend.
“The place is bubbling and the lads look like they have the confidence back.
“They are ready to play already. We need to strike the right balance because when this game starts on Saturday I want everybody to be bang at it.”
Collins has a fully fit squad to choose from for the visit of Luton to Victoria Park.
