Hartlepool United have swooped to sign young reading star Aaron Tshibola on a one-momnth loan.
The well-rated midfielder – who turns 20 today – signed a new two-year deal with The Royals during the summer and went on to make his senior debut as a second half substitute against Nottingham Forest in August.
A product of Reading’s Academy, Tshibola is a big presence in the centre of midfield and his coolness on the ball ensured he was an important player for their Under 21s over the last two seasons.
He was only 16 when he signed his first professional deal at The Madesjski Stadium and in 2011/12 he attracted interest from Manchester United for whom he played as a ‘guest player’ during a tournament in Amsterdam.
Tshibola caught the eye of Pools boss Ronnie Moore and assistant Sam Collins when he scored for Reading’s Under 21s against Bolton Wanderers recently.
The youngster has been handed squad number 31 and will link-up with the Pools squad in time for Saturday’s game at Wycombe Wanderers, subject to approval from the The Football Association and The Football League.
