Fulham’s Martin Jol lines up Odemwingie

Fulham manager Martin Jol has set his sights on West Brom forward Peter Odemwingie as a potential replacement for Bobby Zamora, writes Ashley Preece.

Zamora has attracted a lot of interest amid reports of a training ground bust up with manager Jol and QPR have tabled a £7m bid for the England forward who is holding out for a 90k-a-week salary.

West Brom striker Odemwingie will be travelling down to Craven Cottage for their Premier League encounter on Wednesday so a deal could be thrashed out in time.

Odemwingie scored 15 goals last season which earned him a lucrative contract extension but has only, but has only notched five goals in all competitions this season.
