FABRICIO Coloccini returns from injury against Cheslea at St James’ s Park this afternoon.
Newcastle United’s captain has missed the club’s last three games through injury.
But Coloccini – who suffered a calf problem against West Bromwich Albion last month – returns to the starting XI against the Premier League leaders (12.45pm kick-off).
The 32-year-old will partner Steven Taylor in central defence.
Summer signing Midfielder Remy Cabella also starts, having come off the bench to spark Newcastle’s comeback against Burnley on Tuesday night.
United drew 1-1 at Turf Moor thanks to a goal from Papiss Demba Cisse, who is among the substitutes.
Meanwhile, striker Diego Costa returns to the Chelsea starting XI after serving a one-game suspension.
