ALAN Pardew is set to finally sign a contract at Crystal Palace – and confirm his departure from Newcastle United.
Pardew, still technically manager at St James’s Park, today started work at his new club.
And MailOnline report that the 53-year-old, given permission to talk to Palace early this week, will sign a contract at Selhurst Park this afternoon.
The two clubs will then formally confirm the appointment.
Pardew will take charge of the team for Sunday’s FA Cup tie away to Dover Athletic.
John Carver, Pardew’s No2 at St James’s Park, has been put in temporary charge of Newcastle.
