STEVEN Dykes maintained his unbeaten run in the Plains Farm Premier League, but was rocked by a stunning comeback from Scott Turnbull.

In his first match, Dykes had a 17-darter in his cracking 6-2 win over Bob Laybourn, who had two 21-dart legs and a fantastic 104 outshot.

Dykes also defeated Richie Nilsson 5-3, then stormed four legs up against Turnbull, only for his opponent to brilliant fight his way back for an exciting 4-4 draw.

Laybourne also went down 5-3 to Bobby Turnbull, who posted a 180, and played well for a draw against Andy Chorley.

Tony Cummings beat Neil Hardy 5-3, helped by a maximum and a stunning 120 checkout, then shared the spoils in a thrilling duel with Tommy Davies.

Andy Lincoln hit a 180 in his 4-4 draw with Ian Jarvis, while Andy Chorley impressed in a 7-1 defeat of Matt Naisbty and Doug Robson had an excellent 15-darter in his 6-2 success against Richie Nilsson.

Neil Hardy drew 4-4 with Shaun Turnbull, who managed a maximum, and later had a 180 of his own in an 8-0 defeat of Anth Charlton, while Scott Turnbull beat Jeff Hellens 7-1, a travesty for Hellens who outscored his opponent but could not finish. Bobby Turnbull maintained his good form, overcoming new boy Scott Anderson 6-2.
