YORKSHIRE U12s defeated Durham by 171 runs in a friendly at Hetton Lyons.

The Tykes enjoyed 90 runs from Harry Duke as they totalled 218-6 in 40 overs. Lewis Williams bagged 2-21, with Josh Greenfield, Tom Lawson, Lewis Simpson and Thomas Teesdale also striking.

In reply, Durham were up against it from the start, with only Layla Tipton (13) reaching double figures as they were all out for 47 in 25.2 overs. Harris Sullivan proved all but unplayable, bagging six wickets for the loss of just three runs in eight overs, with five maidens.
