Hetton Lyons won the Durham Cricket Board’s Under-13 play-off cup final, beating Chester-le-Street by 66 runs.
Hetton made 95-5 in their 20 overs, with Callum Salkeld (32 off 26 balls, with five boundaries), Tom Lawson (13) and Miles Birbeck (10) the mainstays.
Thomas Graham (2), Lewis Kilkenny and Matthew Ward all grabbed wickets for Chester-le-Street.
Chester struggled in their reply, falling for 29, with Ward the only batsman to reach double figures as Alex Dreze stole the show, bagging 5-0 in 10 balls. Lawson and Salkeld both took two wickets, with Birbeck also striking.
