SEAHAM Harbour will meet Peterlee in the Benfield DCB U18 Junior League’s South East Division Cup final.
Harbour convincingly beat Castle Eden, making 144-3, thanks to Lewis Aiken (54), Dale Shaw (52) and Nathan Corkhill (31), before restricting the Eden lads to 62-6.
In the other semi, Ryhope B made 94-7 as Joseph Spalding plundered 4-10. Peterlee eased home on 95-1, with Connor Dickinson unbeaten on 39 and Chaytor adding 35.
Aynsley Pears (3-14) and Sol Bell (3-18) helped City restrict Hetton Lyons to 93-8, before Callum Steel (33) and Mudara Senanayake (36no) secured a nine-wicket win.
James Wilson’s undefeated 102 steered Chester to 166-2 before Burnmoor battled to 104-6 in reply.
In the North East Division Cup semi-finals, Marsden edged past Boldon CA by four wickets to set up a final date with Whitburn (104-5), who beat South Shields by five wickets thanks largely to Howell Hurst’s 3-18 and 44 runs from Ryan Parkin.
* Eppleton U15s progressed in the Glen Robinson Memorial Cup by defeating Horden, who managed 117-6, including 39 from Fenwick, as Liam Smiles (2-26) and U13s player Bradley Bainbridge (2-18) shone. Charlie Ord hit 13 fours in an unbeaten 71 as Eppleton won by eight wickets, with Jordan McGill adding 34.
