And Beckham's successor as captain – Chelsea's John Terry – has also been giving the Newcastle United defender advice and encouragement ahead of the Wembley fixture.

Terry is set to start alongside Rio Ferdinand in the centre of Steve McClaren's defence, with Manchester City's Micah Richards likely to get the nod at right-back.
Centre-half Taylor – who can also play at full-back – is vying, along with the likes of Wes Brown, Nicky Shorey and Phil Neville, to come off the bench and play some part in the game.
Taylor's early-season form won him his first call up from McClaren, a regular at St James's Park since succeeding Sven-Goran Eriksson.
And the stopper has been welcomed into the full set-up by senior pros Beckham and Terry.
"David Beckham and John Terry have been fantastic," said Taylor.
"They both came over and spoke to me on the first day.
"Beckham gave me advice about being in the England squad, and he's been really helpful. He said it'll only help me become a better player.
"John Terry's been giving me tips and encouragement, which is brilliant. He's one of my idols.
"It's been a great experience for me, and I've already learnt a lot."
McClaren has also taken time to speak to 21-year-old Taylor, who was watched by the England coach in Saturday's goalless draw against Aston Villa at St James's Park.
Taylor will captain Stuart Pearce's England Under-21 side should he return to his squad for the European Championship qualifying campaign.
He has 18 Under-21 caps, and has scored four goals.
