Sinclaire has returned to the UK after a spell in the USA with Chicago Fire San Jose Earth Quakes.

The relegation candidates are also chasing a defender to bolster their squad and also hope to add a further player on deadline day.

At the top of the conference, second place Oxford United have re-signed former favourite Chris Hargreaves.

Hargreaves returns after leaving the club in 2007 and has joined until the end of the season after leaving Torquay United.

Third-placed York City have allowed defender Alan O'Hare to return to Conference North Side Gainsborogh Trinity as well as the deadline looms.

As deadline day looms the Conference could be busy as clubs at both the bottom and top look for something to guide them to safety or to glory.
