Ross Wallace has been told he can leave Sunderland.
Roy Keane says he will listen to offers for the 22-year-old left-winger who was one of the first signings made by the Sunderland manager.

The announcement is part of an approach the Black Cats have adopted to raise money in the transfer market to fund new signings.

As well as Wallace other players have also been told they are surplus to requirements.

Greg Halford, Ian Harte, David Connolly, Graham Kavanagh and Stephen Wright are also among those free to leave the club.

Keane said: "We're looking to bring in a number of players who can play a key part in our season and as a result we are having to manage the squad.

"There are some players who I would consider allowing to leave the club or go out on loan if it suited all concerned and I've spoken to the players concerned."
