Sunderland will bid for Reading's Stephen Hunt and team-mate Kevin Doyle, according to reports.
Sunderland tried to land winger Hunt in January, but Royals boss Steve Coppell rejected a series of offers.

Now the Black Cats will renew their pursuit of Hunt and team-mate Kevin Doyle, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Striker Doyle is another Republic of Ireland international, and is said to be valued at £5m by Roy Keane.

Sunderland are reportedly willing to pay £10m for the two players, a cash injection that would soften the financial blow to Reading if they're relegated today.
