" contacts in England. Also: Martin Johnson, the England manager, intends to stick by his coaching team for the Six Nations Championship despite yesterday's 19-6 defeat by New Zealand, his side's second reverse of a troubled autumn campaign.

MAIL ON SUNDAY: Sir Alex Ferguson last night sensationally wrote off England's chances of winning the World Cup - even though nine of his squad are battling to win a place in Fabio Capello's plans.
