Silksworth face challenges on and off the field as manager Chris Lindstedt attempts to improve performances and chairman Steven Smith is tasked with raising the profile of the club.
The Wearsiders host Cleator Moor Celtic tomorrow and Lindstedt will need to make wholesale changes to his side with no fewer than nine players unavailable.

Jordan Craik, Shane Mulane, Anthony Mustard, Andrew Bowes, Robert Hall, Ross Taylor, Alan T
ench, Craig Peel and Andrew College are all sidelined. Fortunately, Cameron Marshall, Gary Tyzack, Andrew Place and Darren George can play.

"It's not an ideal situation but it is a selection problem which has got to be faced. I'm confident we'll give the Cumbrians a good game and hopefully maintain our steady rise in the table," said Lindstedt.

Smith, meanwhile, is hoping for a good gate and admission will be only £2 and £1 for concessions.

He said: "We want supporters to come along and give their backing to our young team, the average age of which is just 24.

"We are a community club and in recent years have raised over £11,000 for charities but we need support from local businesses.

"We have various sponsorship packages starting from just £20 up to £500 and I would ask anyone who can help to get in touch with me on 07960 824171."

Ashbrooke Belford House manager Tommy Dobbing also faces a selection headache ahead of his team's visit to Easington Colliery.

David Scott and Lee Davison are definitely out while David Baxter, Brian Smiles, David Christy and Ryan Steel are doubtful. Lee Owens could be handed his debut.

In contrast, Easington are stronger with the inclusion of captain James Huntley, John Bowes and Jonathan Pearson although Chris Hall and Craig Harbord will need late checks on their fitness.

Houghton Town go to Kirkbymoorside with a depleted squad. Manager Steve Patton cannot call upon Andrew Gartland, Kevin Gordon or Billy Harrison while the availability of Chris Curtis is in doubt. Newcomer Owen Shannon is pencilled in for his first game.

Coxhoe Athletic welcome the return of Tom Orton and Lee Knight but Trevor Turney is doubtful for the visit of Boldon CA who will be at full strength, with the exception of Andrew Hall who has moved to Birtley Town.

Joint manager Paul Mullen has left Willington leaving Max Reece in sole charge.

Reece has no selection worries for the game at Wolviston who expect to complete the transfer of Glen Smith from Teesside Athletic.

Leaders Ryhope CW meet holders Teesside Athletic in the semi-final of the Shipowners Cup at Redcar.

The Wearsiders are without James Dunn, Kenny Linton and Michael Turnbull but the home side are more fortunate and manager Steve Watson's only absentee is broken arm victim Andy Taylor.

Annfield Plain have a full pool of players on stand by for the second round Wearmouth Charity Cup tie at home to Jarrow who are boosted by the availability of Lee Buglass and Lee O'Neill.
