Seaham Red Star could jump three places in the Skilltrainingltd Northern League Second Division if they defeat out-of-sorts Hebburn Town tomorrow.
Andy Toman's side has been inconsistent to say the least and are seventh from bottom while Hebburn are three places below them.
Anthony Hume, Stephen Windspear, Lee Armes and Michael Pattison return but Toman again misses Jordan Hugill.

Birtley T
own prop up the table ahead of their visit to Thornaby.
Manager Scott Oliver is anxious for his team to end a losing sequence.

He said: "A couple of wins would be great for confidence. We didn't play last weekend so the lads have had a couple of weeks to get over niggling injuries."

Owen Peterson returns following a month on the sidelines and goalkeeper Johnny Hands is also available but Nick Evans is banned.

Oliver will hand a debut to striker Paul Gordon who has previously played for Prudhoe Town and Ryton.

Table-topping Sunderland RCA go to Northallerton Town and Neil Hixon's only doubt is Michael Coglan. A boost is the availability of Scott Richards who has figured as a substitute in the last two matches, making his comeback following a lengthy absence.

North Shields have moved into fourth position following an unbeaten 12-match sequence and at Newton Aycliffe will be looking for revenge.

Aycliffe won the early-season fixture and also defeated the Robins in the Ernest Armstrong Memorial Cup.

Manager Anthony Woodhouse is pleased to have Mark Minto, Robbie Livermore and Brian Smith in contention and could introduce a new signing.

In Division One, Horden line up against Ryton at Welfare Park in a crucial bottom five contest.

Boss Craig Veart had hoped to sign a player earlier in the week but the deal is off and it's unlikely he'll have a new player available for tomorrow.

"We have transferred David Able to Darlington RA, fulfilling an agreement we made with the lad when he signed for us.

"In addition, Andy Appleby is available for transfer," said Veart.

Steve Thomas is an injury doubt and although Kevin Devine is available, Veart reports that the striker will soon be banned.

Following their midweek victory at Whickham in the Brooks Mileson Memorial Cup, Chester-le-Street host Consett hoping to improve on their bottom six rating.

Manager Stuart Sherwood delays announcing his squad while his opposite number, Kenny Lindoe, welcomes the inclusion of Carl Piecha, John Jo Dickman and Chris Scott.

Star striker Mattie Moffat is doubtful with an ankle injury and the Steelmen have transferred Steve Johnson to Shildon.

Spennymoor Town aim to maintain pole position when they take on West Allotment Celtic at the Brewery Field and second placed Whitley Bay also have home advantage over Penrith.

Newcastle Benfield, who recently parted company with coach Paddy Atkinson, will attempt to arrest a four-game losing sequence when they visit bottom of the table West Auckland Town.

In contrast, Tow Law Town are on a high following the recent appointment of Dave Hagan as boss.

The Lawyers line up against Shildon and although Gavin Mudd, Scott Martindale, Craig Bishop and Mark Salmon are out, Hagan is confident that the Lawyers will maintain their winning form.
