Durham County Under-18s are through to the FA County Youth Cup second round – after Chester-le-Street's James Ellis grabbed a hat-trick to inspire a 6-0 rout of Derbyshire.
Joe Hughes (Chester-le-Street), Chris Trewick of Ryhope CW and Scott Martindale (Gateshead College) also netted to clinch a home second-round tie against Sheffield and Hallamshire or Cheshire.
