Sunderland RCA are four points ahead in Division Two despite being held to a 1-1 draw at Northallerton.
Mark Davison and Paul Taylor went close before Gary Shields' smart gave RCA a half-time advantage – seconds after Ash Davies's brilliant run was denied by a goal-line clearance.

Davison had a shot cleared off the line before Christian Holliday lev
elled from close range.

Northallerton had a goal disallowed before RCA squandered a great chance to clinch victory on 71 minutes.

Stephen Stewart was upended inside the box, but Davison dragged his spot-kick wide and RCA had to settle for a point.

Marske United are second after blitzing Brandon United 5-0, with goals from Stuart Jackson, Owen Dixon, Ben Thompson, Robert Jones and Andrew Swalwell.

Jarrow Roofing occupy the third promotion place after Kevin Davison, Stuart Burns and Chris Hepple clinched a come-from-behind 3-2 win at Whitehaven.

Seaham Red Star produced their best performance of the season, defeating Hebburn Town 7-3.

Hat-trick hero Anthony Hume,Robert Betson, Aaron Ramsbottom, Adam Gell and an own goal by goalkeeper Kevin Duncan did the damage, with Carl McMann, Shaun Carroll and Daniel Gray replying.

Washington succumbed 7-1 at Stokesley, with man-of-the-match Andrew Jennings striking five. Peter Watling grabbed a late reply.

Birtley Town remain bottom despite a 1-1 draw at Thornaby where Kelvin Armstrong gave them the lead and Andrew Soulsby missed a penalty before Dean Fox levelled.
