Brandon United exited the Brooks Mileson Memorial Cup when they crashed to a 5-1 defeat at Norton and Stockton Ancients last night.
All six goals were scored during the second half.

David Wells and Sonny Andrews each bagged a brace for the Teessiders before Stephen Fothergill claimed a consolation for United, who then conceded a fifth goal to David Hillerby.

Crook Town moved into eighth position in the Skilltrainingltd Northern League Second Division after a 3-1 victory over second-bottom Darlington RA.

John McKie shocked the hosts with a first-minute RA opener, but, but by the 32nd minute, Crook were firmly in control thanks to Gavin Barton, Daryl Hall and Adam Nicholls.

Crook are now just six points outside the promotion frame, with games in hand on six of the seven sides above them.
