Billingham Town celebrated their first appearance in the Arngrove Northern League Cup final by defeating Shildon 2-1 at Seaham Red Star last night.
The Teessiders made a dream start, scoring in the first minute. Stuart
Banks was felled and Steve Huggins converted the penalty.

Banks then added the second goal on 20 minutes, finding the net with a clinical finish from 18 yards.

Billingham comfortably sat on their two goals lead and there was just a minute remaining as Wayne Gredziak replied for the Railwaymen.

The curtain comes down on the ANL season tonight when Birtley Town host Division Two champions Penrith (7.45).
