Kinnear rules out move for new players

Joe Kinnear has ruled out an emergency signing between now and January.
Newcastle United's interim manager has been scouring a list of free agents in the hope he can find a player who can add something to his paper-thin and injury-hit squad.
However, the 61-year-old does not believe there is an out of contract player who can help the club.
And instead, Kinnear will put his faith in those he already has available to him as well United's reserves – who he has watched twice since joining Newcastle – while at the same time hoping for more good news on the injury front.
"I've had a long look at a list of players who are out of contract and available to join other clubs, and it's actually a massive list," said Kinnear.
"It's full of players who have only played a couple of games for their clubs, and these are not the sort of players I want for Newcastle United.
"Those type of players are not going to improve us, and I already have better players here, even those who are on the fringe of the first team."
Kinnear, like Kevin Keegan before him, is grappling with a lengthy injury list, with Mark Viduka, Alan Smith and Obafemi Martins all out with long-term problems.
However, he does hope to have Jonas Gutierrez, Habib Beye and Nacho Gonzalez available for the home game against Manchester City a week on Monday.
Kinnear added: "If I can get some of these back, it would be a big boost, especially as Danny Guthrie is back with us again after his suspension.
"I'm happy with the squad I've got, and I can include Joey Barton in our squad by the time we go to Sunderland on October 25, if I want him."
Meanwhile, Kinnear is still waiting to hear if Gerry Francis – who he has invited to join his coaching staff on a part-time basis – will join him on Tyneside.
