Tony Sweeney is confident Hartlepool United can return to winning ways when Stockport visit Victoria Park on Saturday.
Pools outgunned visitors Colchester and Scunthorpe before losing at Tranmere last weekend, but right-back Sweeney believes the team's impressive home form can continue.

"The fans who went to the first two games will tell you that we played some pretty good football there," he said.

"There is no reason why we can't keep that up. Our home form has been all right over the last few seasons and we have scored plenty of goals.
"If we can keep them out, there is no reason why we can't win the game."

Sweeney is enjoying his role at right-back, saying: "Obviously every game is going to be a learning curve because you don't just slot into a position and pick everything up straight away.

"The first two games went well, Saturday could have gone better, but we will keep plodding on."
