Hartlepool United: Porter could stay

Striker Joel Porter could be staying with Hartlepool United.
The little Aussie was tied to Victoria Park for another 12 months last week after Pools decided to exercise their right to activate an option on his contract.

It had been rumoured that Porter was set to return Down Under in the summer with Australian A-League side Wellington Phoenix keen on signing him.

But Hartlepool's decision to extend Porter's contract means that Phoenix will have to cough up a transfer fee if they are to land the forward.
