Eris Whitfield, pictured above, produced a fantastic display of high scoring and clinical finishing as he despatched Anth Devine 5-2 in the Thorney Close Premier Darts League.
A 180 and 110 out shot helped him secure winning legs in 15, 17, 18 and 21 darts twice to keep up his pursuit of top spot.

Steve Richardson got back to winning ways with a 5-1 victory over Micky Brown. Richardson was too consistent for Brown despi
te a spirited display, taking legs in 15, 18 and 21 darts twice.

County player Andy King continued his push for a play-off spot with a fine win over rival Dave Lowthian. A close match was decided when King produced two successive 17-dart legs to edge home 5-3.

Chris Bolam stayed in touch with the top two as another solid display saw him defeat Dawn Evans 5-0. Bolam hit 16 and 21-dart legs in his victory. Dawn's night got no better as she suffered a second successive 5-0 whitewash this time at the hands of Marco Laybourn.

Young gun Jamie Scott produced a fine performance to secure a 5-1 victory over in form Vince Lorraine. Scott hit legs of 16 and 18 darts in the win.

Micky Watson recorded a comfortable 5-0 over Neil Hardy to keep his faint playoff hopes alive while Chris Harkness was also a 5-0 winner over Rob Rankin with finishes of 120 and 83 were followed up with two winning legs in 21 darts.

Darren Johnston and Gary Richardson drew 4-4 and Clark Brettell finally recorded a victory over bogey player Jordan Cook. Brettell produced some super darts with winning legs of 16 and 20 darts twice helping him to run out a 5-1 winner.
