Russell Meek produced an outstanding performance – averaging 99 – to consolidate second place in the McCees Wearside League Premier Division.

In Division One, promotion-chasing Lee Rump needed nine legs to get the better of Neil Hardy.

Hardy had a 90 finish early on, only for Rump to excel with two 16-darters, a maximum and finishes of 70 and 60.

Hardy made amends by beating Jamie Scott 5-2, aided by two 19-darters.

"Denim Dazzler" Marco Laybourne had a superb 5-2 win over rival Paul Charters, including a checkout of 100 and a 16-darter.
