Dawdon cruised into the Frank Lees Bowl semi-finals with a 56-run defeat of Boldon CA last night.
Shoaib Akhtar (58) and Ryan Consitt (42) sped Dawdon to 160-6 before Liam Cowell's 4-24 helped dismiss Boldon for 104.

David Tarn stroked a superb 81 as Easington totalled 132-6 before restricting Washington to 116-7, with Anthony Fox grabbing 5-24. Billy Teesdale hit 42 for the Newtowners.

Ryhope secured a six-wicket defeat of Murton, who made 135-9, with Graeme Martin's 32 top-scoring. Stephen Wright (4-41) and Micky Thorpe (3-37) stole the show with the ball.

In reply, Andrew Docherty (58) and Arjun Purewal (42) steered Ryhope home on 138-4.

Castle Eden completed the last-four line-up with a resounding win over Bill Quay. Alan Unsworth's 37 guided them to 130-6, before taking 3-2 as Quay were skittled for 42. Richard Ede grabbed 4-7.
