£2.5m Dunne in new Cats link
SUNDERLAND have again been linked with a £2.5million move for Manchester City centre-back Richard Dunne.
City owner Thaksin Shinawatra has promised a clear-out in the wake of his club's disappointing second half of the season.
Dunne's experience and consistency would certainly make him attractive to other Premier League clubs.
But it's difficult to tell whether this latest story is a case of Sunderland again being linked with any available Irishman.
Newcastle are among a host of other clubs believed to be tracking Dunne, while young midfielder Michael Johnson has appeared on Liverpool's radar and Manchester United fancy City's defensive star, Micah Richards.
