Diehard Take That fans are in for a treat as the next best thing to the boys takes the region by storm. MARISSA CARRUTHERS takes a peek at the smash hit musical.
IF you like Take That and you're a theatre fan then Never Forget is a winning combination.

Featuring all of the top hits from Britain's most successful boy band, the show has already been hailed a hit by Take That fans up and down the country.

Direct from the West End, where it received rave reviews, Never Forget is written by Bafta award-winner Danny Brocklehurst (Shameless and Clocking Off), Guy Jones and Ed Curtis.

The touching, funny and ultimately uplifting musical follows five young men who enter a local talent competition, with each of them desperate to find a way out and a step up.

Ash Sherwood is an aspiring singer-songwriter struggling to make it on the Manchester music scene.

He's chasing the prize money that might help save his mum's struggling pub and pay for his wedding to Chloe.

Jake "The Face" Turner is Ash's best friend and brother of his fiancée. As a sharp-witted, wannabe ladies' man he's hoping the band will get him out of his dead-end job.

Adrian Banks is an introverted bank manager, who is hopelessly attempting to win over his adulterous wife.

Dirty Harry is a dim yet endearing stripper looking to recover his self-respect.

And Jose Reize is a wide-eyed and optimistic Spaniard who has travelled to England to make something of himself and escape the clutches of his overbearing mother.

Along the way they discover fame comes at a price, but friendships last forever.
