The university's summer open day will let anyone interested in or thinking about studying in Sunderland discover more about the courses, facilities and opportunities on offer.

As the open day is during a time when students are making decisions through Clearing, it is the perfect opportunity to visit Sunderland and find out first-hand the range of courses and experiences on offer.

Based at the Sir Tom Cowie Campus on the university St Peter’s site, the open day is a chance to explore everything the university provides. As well as seeing teaching buildings and meeting lecturers, visitors can investigate the halls of residence to see where they could be studying and living.

There will be a range of experts on hand; Academics, support staff and current students are available to provide a wealth of knowledge and answer questions on subjects such as finance and the UCAS process.

A free hop on, hop off bus will be available to take visitors between both campuses and halls of residence.

The programme of events begins at 9.30am, with talks and tours running until 4pm.
