Newcastle United have won the race to sign Argentina midfielder Pablo Aimar, according to reports.
The Mirror reckon Portsmouth, Sunderland and Benfica were also chasing Aimar, capped 51 times by his country.

But Kevin Keegan will land the 28-year-old, who will move from Spanish club Real Zaragoza for £7m.
