THIS is the moment a house-trash teenager was arrested by detectives investigating the party that wrecked a family home.
Flanked by CID officers she was led from a house after 200 revellers ransacked a £230,000 luxury property.

Three detectives from Durham Police spent 10 minutes in the house before emerging with the 17-year-old and taking her off for questioning.

She was quizzed by police about the £20,000 wrecking spree at the luxury property.

Meanwhile, the owner of the property, Elaine Bell, called on those "really responsible" for the destruction to be prosecuted.

Mrs Bell, 48, said: "We need to know the details about what happened.
"I want to find out what's gone on in the house."

Hundreds of teens turned up at Mrs Bell's £230,000 family home at Chipchase Court, Woodstone Village, on Monday.

Yesterday, her daughter Rachael, 17, who organised the party, claimed louts had hijacked the MySpace website advertising the party and invited everyone to "trash the average-sized family house".

Elaine and Rachael's dad, Alan, 48, were today still trying to come to terms with the £20,000 in damage caused to the home.

Elaine added: "We still want to know what went wrong. We want those who are really responsible prosecuted.

"We need to sort out the exact truth."

The mum-of-four, who was staying at a caravan in Whitburn at the time of the party, says her family has been besieged by the media during the past 72 hours.

Unable to eat or sleep since returning home, she is now facing a huge repair bill with damage caused to almost every room.

A spokesman for Durham Police said: "We can confirm that a 17-year-old young woman was arrested by detectives yesterday on suspicion of criminal damage and other matters. She was taken to Durham City police station for questioning. She was later released on police bail pending further inquiries."

One partygoer, known as JB, today described the scenes of destruction as he arrived at the house at 10pm on Monday.

The 18-year-old, who said he met Rachael while out at Newcastle's Carling Academy, said: "We smuggled one of our mates in packed in a suitcase.

"When we got there, about 150 people were already in the house. There was whipped cream all over the walls and doors, cigarettes stubbed out on the walls. Upstairs, we heard wardrobes were being pulled out, light fixtures pulled from the ceilings, all the drawers gone through.

"The police came at 11.30pm and chased us off, so we all went over to a nearby wooded area before starting to make our way back through Lumley and onto Chester-le-Street."

Another reveller, from Newcastle, described how radiators were unscrewed from the walls, couples were having sex in bedrooms and strangers from as far afield as Manchester and Liverpool were falling asleep on floors.

The shindig was advertised as a "Unofficial Skins Party" based on cult Channel 4 teen drama Skins.

Yesterday, Rachael, a pupil at Park View School in Chester-le-Street told the Echo she was sorry for what had happened.

She said: "I totally regret it. It was supposed to be a party with a few friends and it turned into a complete nightmare."
