What about Sunderland's arrears?
Now it has been confirmed the Council tax is going up by 5% I, and many of the citizens of Sunderland, who have to pay this hike are wondering what the Council is doing to recoup the £10million arrears owed in Council tax?
Are the Council going to collect these arrears or are they just going to rely on the regular payers? The people of Sunderland are already struggling to pay bills and now this rise.
Also are the Council going to cut their expenses or cut the number of Councillors in Sunderland? Sunderland does not need 75 Councillors, they should cut the numbers to save money, especially with the Council tax rise, and the bin collections going to two week collections. This needs to be addressed.
