Not enough jobs for all

Have your say

Migrants in Calais, Kos and elsewhere are not desperate.

They are mostly able-bodied men who have travelled through many countries to Calais.

The freebies there are not good enough for them. No, they must get to the UK where they could end up in hotels, fed and watered, while holidaymakers at those hotels have paid good money to be there.

Another important question is, could we UK people travel to another country be fed, housed and medicated for free? The answer is a resounding no.

These people use the excuse that they will work. Why should they think that any European country could provide thousands of jobs for them out of thin air?

Do they not realise that work also means accommodation, health service, education etc? Sorry, these people are mostly scroungers. Where will it end?
