Hobbies are important
The other day when I was in The Bridges Shopping Centre I went to The Works book shop and I was pleased to see that they were selling small boxes of magic tricks to encourage young people to pick up this wonderful hobby of magic. 'ƒ
It’s a pity there’s not more in toy shops and in other shops, and it is also a pity that in book shops there are no hobby books on magic on their shelves.
Is that not part of what the councillors want Sunderland to be, the culture city? Magic to me is culture.
If this was the USA, magic would be the in thing, because what I read in magic magazines, magic is a way of life to them – they have got it all.
