Flowers are a waste of cash

a) The council wouldn’t hang its head in shame because it doesn’t care and doesn’t listen to what we want. The people who voted them back in and those who complain about the council to each other but don’t vote should hang their heads in shame.

b) If I had a pound every time the council blamed Government austerity cuts, I would be rich.

Since the council refuses to cut back on its inflated expenses, vanity projects and union activities, I think that it should spend money on necessities, not flowers, hanging baskets or flower boxes.

We can only look at the flowers from the buses anyhow because we are too busy looking down trying not to trip over the filthy, badly maintained paving.
