Failure is not a victory

Have your say

After winning the election in 2010, David Cameron and his colleagues made many promises, many of which they have since failed to achieve or broken.

One of his main priorities we were informed was immigration.

Despite this, immigration has continued to rise and, in fact, is considerably higher than when Mr Cameron was elected.

How fortuitous for him then that fat cat industrialists and well known Tory donors and supporters have issued a statement claiming that a curb on immigration would be detrimental to the UK economy and that by failing to manage the immigration problem the Tories are to be congratulated.

Yet another example of the Tory party trying to fool the British public in to believing that its total failure is, in fact, a triumph.

Dream on David.
