EVER dreamt of your moment in the spotlight on the Sunderland Empire stage?
Today we’re giving one reader the chance to make their musical dreams come true.
We’ve teamed up with the producers of Fame The Musical to give one lucky person a money-can’t-buy opportunity to be part of
the new production when it bursts on to the Sunderland Empire stage from March 10-15.
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is to send us a photo of you doing your best pose from Fame.
The prize will include the opportunity to be in Fame the Musical on Thursday, March 13 for the 7.30pm performance.
In addition, you will win a pair of tickets to the opening night with a programme, so the winner can see the show on Monday March 10; a pair of tickets to the evening performance on Thursday, March 13, so the winner can bring a couple of friends or family along to see them on stage, a meet and greet with the cast of Fame and your own star dressing room.
Fame is a high-octane roller coaster ride through dizzy heights and crashing lows as a group of star-struck wannabes embark on their quest for the ultimate accolade – fame.
At the world-famous High School for Performing Arts New York, young talented hopefuls undertake the journey of their lives.
Ambition, triumph, heartbreak and romance conspire to steer them off course, and the pressure is too much for some. But, these kids are determined to live forever as they rocket through exhilarating dance routines and show-stopping tunes.
To win your 15 minutes of Fame, you can email a picture of you doing your best Fame pose to Katy.Wheeler@jpress.co.uk.
Alternatively, you can post them to Fame Competition, Katy Wheeler, Echo House, Pennywell Industrial Estate, Sunderland, SR4 9ER.
Or, you can tweet your pictures to @SunEchoKaty using the hashtag #my15minsofFAME.
Make sure to include your name, age and contact details in your entry.
